Hugh McKean

About Hugh McKean

Hugh McKean is the Colorado House Minority Leader from Loveland, Colorado. A Republican, McKean represents Colorado House of Representatives District 51, which encompasses Loveland and the surrounding area. He was first elected in 2016. Before his election as a state representative, McKean served as a City Councilor in Loveland.

Hugh died unexpectedly on October 30, 2022. Just a few days later, he was re-elected, overwhelmingly and posthumously, to another term in HD51. We can’t bring ourselves to take his picture down. He lives on here and in our hearts, and this website goes on in memory of our dearly missed friend.
